About the Role:
To merge advanced baking and culinary expertise with strong commercial acumen to drive product innovation, customer satisfaction, and business growth. The role ensures bakery offerings meet the highest quality standards while aligning with commercial goals, market demands, and profitability targets.
Activities:
- Lead the development of new bakery products by applying technical expertise in ingredients, equipment, and processes, in line with market trends and customer preferences, to deliver commercially viable and innovative SKUs that support sales growth.
- Conduct production trials and technical validations, using standard procedures and collaboration with the operations team, to ensure that product prototypes can be scaled efficiently for full manufacturing runs without compromising quality.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including product specifications, ingredient lists, supplier briefs, and bills of materials, using internal systems and QA protocols, to support traceability, compliance, and production accuracy.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver technical product presentations, customer demos, and sampling sessions, in alignment with commercial plans, to enhance customer engagement and secure new business.
Requirement:
The potential candidates must meet the requirements mentioned below:
- Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Food Science or Bachelor of International Culinary Arts Management or Bachelor of Hotel Management (Essential)
- Diploma in Baking & Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality Management. (Desirable)
- 6 - 8 years of experience in commercial bakery operations or food manufacturing.
- Large amount of hands-on baking experience, with a strong background in laminated dough and/or batterbased products, with strong bench work skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
