Next Era is seeking a proactive IT Analyst to provide first‑level technical support, assist in daily IT operations, and contribute to the smooth delivery of IT services across the organization.
The IT Analyst provides first-level IT support to end users under the guidance of senior IT staff. This role focuses on basic troubleshooting, system support, laptop setup, and assisting in day-to-day IT operations. This position serves as an initial point of contact for end-user IT issues and helps ensure smooth IT service delivery across the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
End-User Support: Provide first-level support for basic hardware, software, and application-related issues. Laptop & Asset Support: Assist in preparing, configuring, and deploying laptops and IT equipment for new and existing employees. Helpdesk Support: Log, update, and track incidents and service requests using the helpdesk ticketing system. Web & Application Support: Assist in basic web‑related support activities, including minor updates, troubleshooting, and coordinating fixes for existing internal websites and applications. Issue Escalation: Identify issues beyond scope and escalate them to senior IT or specialized teams as required. User Assistance: Support users with password resets, email access, system access, and basic application usage. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and standard procedures. Basic Network Support: Assist with basic network and connectivity issues such as Wi-Fi access, VPN support, and printer connectivity. User Guidance: Provide basic instructions and guidance to end users on IT tools and systems.
Experience & Education:
0–3 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role (fresh graduates with internships are welcome).
Technical Skills:
Windows OS and MS Office Laptop setup and basic hardware troubleshooting Common IT applications and tools Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Java Script for simple updates and troubleshooting of internal web pages. Ability to support minor fixes or enhancements in existing web and application systems. Exposure to CMS/admin panels or basic coding concepts is an added advantage Customer Service Skills:Good communication skills with a customer-focused mindset. Tools Exposure:Basic exposure to helpdesk ticketing systems or remote support tools is an advantage.
