Job Summary

The Finance Manager will lead and manage the financial planning, accounting, reporting, and commercial functions of the manufacturing facility. The role ensures financial discipline, cost control, profitability improvement, budgeting accuracy, and compliance with company policies and local regulations. The position works closely with operations, procurement, sales, and top management to support business growth and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Strategy

  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analyses with corrective recommendations.
  • Advise management on investment, expansion, and profitability strategies.

Accounting & Reporting

  • Supervise accounting teams for AP/AR, GL, Payroll, and Fixed Assets.
  • Ensure month-end and year-end closing processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and internal reporting structures.

Costing & Manufacturing Finance

  • Manage product costing, BOM calculations, and production cost variance analysis.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives across materials, operations, and overheads.
  • Work closely with production and procurement to control wastage, optimize inventory, and improve working capital.

Commercial & Controls

  • Implement internal financial controls, audit compliance, and risk management practices.
  • Oversee banking, treasury, LCs, supplier payments, collections, and cash flow planning.
  • Manage insurance, tax filings (ZATCA / VAT / WHT), and regulatory compliance.

ERP & Systems

  • Enhance ERP utilization for finance, costing, and reporting (SAP/Oracle/ERP systems preferred).
  • Ensure system-driven financial discipline and transparency.


Skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional certifications preferred: CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA
  • 8–15 years experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 3–5 years in Manufacturing Industry (Metals, Plastics, Building Materials, Industrial Products).
  • Strong background in costing, budgeting, and management reporting.
  • Knowledge of Saudi VAT, WHT, ZATCA regulations.
  • Experience in handling audits, tax matters, and banks.
