We are seeking a highly qualified Technical Office Manager to join our construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the
technical office, overseeing construction projects, supervising technical staff, and ensuring accurate project pricing and efficient project execution.
The Technical Office Manager will play a key role in coordinating between engineering, procurement, site teams, and management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all technical office activities and staff.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Prepare and review project cost estimates, budgets, and pricing (BOQs, tenders, and variations).
- Ensure accurate project pricing, cost control, and financial tracking.
- Manage and monitor multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, project requirements, and safety regulations.
- Evaluate employee performance and manage technical office staff workload and development.
- Provide regular reports to senior management regarding project progress and costs
Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Office Manager or similar role in a construction company.
- Strong knowledge of construction project management and pricing.
- Excellent skills in project costing, estimation, and budgeting.
- Experience in managing employees and technical teams.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
