Job Purpose

We are seeking a Core Team Lead responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting a large-scale CS, PS, and ITSC network. This role involves coordination, management, troubleshooting, reactive maintenance, and creating internal knowledge base sessions for the core team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Configuration Changes: Troubleshoot configuration changes for MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, SBC, UDM (CUDB, HSS[1]FE, HLR-FE), and IMS (P, I, S-CSCF, ATS, MGCF, MRFP, CG, ENUM, DRA, UPG) following approved processes.
  • MSTOP Compliance: Ensure MSTOP processes are followed in the workplace.
  • Technical Discussions: Participate in internal technical discussions to enhance network monitoring and first-level troubleshooting.
  • Best Practices: Ensure correct methodologies, best practices, and continuous improvement in efficiency.
  • Fault Management: Manage fault handling and localization within SLA timelines.
  • Change Management Support: Support and coordinate the team during change management and CR implementation.
  • Incident Recovery: Ensure incident recovery is achieved within SLA.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the FO core team and ensure fulfillment of all KPIs.
  • Performance Improvement: Enhance the performance of first-level operation engineers during shifts and provide guidelines for quality and consistency.



Skills

Qualifications

  • Education: BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering with a major in Communication and Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience: 8+ years CS/PS troubleshooting.
  • Core Protocols Knowledge: Understanding of core protocols (SIP, H.248, SS7, ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SCCP, Diameter).
  • Call Flow Understanding: In-depth understanding of call flow in CS Core, VOLTE/IMS.
  • Network Knowledge: Clear understanding of 2G/3G/4G core network nodes, protocols, and signaling flow.
  • Hands-on Experience: Strong O&M experience with voice core CS nodes (e.g., MSC, MGWs, STP, UDC, APG).
  • Second Level Operations: Hands-on troubleshooting experience on IMS nodes (e.g., SBG, MTAS, CSCF, Ipworks, Eme).
  • Virtualization and Cloud Knowledge: Good knowledge of virtualization, Cloud NFVI, and NFVO preferred.
