We are looking for an experienced CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC fiber laser cutting machines in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC fiber laser cutting machines
- Load materials and select cutting programs according to job orders
- Adjust cutting parameters such as laser power, speed, and gas
- Read and interpret technical and shop drawings
- Ensure cutting quality, accuracy, and edge finish
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools
- Report machine faults or production issues
- Follow safety and quality procedures at all times
Skills
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Fiber Laser Operator
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal cutting processes
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience with mild steel, stainless steel, and galvanized sheets
- Attention to detail and quality
Preferred:
- Experience in metal fabrication or elevator manufacturing
- Knowledge of nesting software is an advantage
