 Job Overview

We are a growing software company looking for a Mid-Level PHP Backend Developer to join our technical team in Al-Hofuf, Al-Ahsa. The ideal candidate has solid experience with PHP and Laravel, a strong understanding of backend systems, and hands-on experience building scalable APIs and integrations.

You will work closely with internal teams to develop and maintain reliable backend services that support multiple software products and platforms.

???? Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using PHP (Laravel)

Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications

Integrate and maintain payment gateways and third-party services

Apply clean code, design patterns, and best practices

Optimize database queries and improve system performance

Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and operations teams

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues

 Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience in backend development using PHP

Strong hands-on experience with Laravel

Good understanding of backend architecture and system design

Experience integrating payment gateways

Solid knowledge of MVC, SOLID principles, and clean architecture concepts

Experience with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)

Familiarity with REST APIs and authentication mechanisms

Experience using Git and version control workflows

 Nice to Have

Experience working on large or high-traffic applications

Knowledge of queues and background processing (Laravel Queues, Redis)

Basic experience with Docker or server environments

Experience integrating external APIs and third-party systems

Familiarity with automated testing concepts
