Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Audio Visual Engineer with a strong lighting design and integration background, ideally with experience in theme parks, immersive attractions, or location-based entertainment venues. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, integrating, and commissioning AV and lighting systems that deliver world-class guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement AV systems, including lighting design and lighting control.

Lead lighting design for immersive environments, dark rides, live shows, and interactive experiences.

Collaborate with creative, technical, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of AV and lighting systems.

Produce technical documentation, including schematics, system designs, and commissioning reports.

Manage on-site installation, testing, and troubleshooting of AV and lighting systems.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation.

Support live event operations and provide technical training to client teams.

Required Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in AV engineering with a focus on lighting systems.

Proven track record in theme parks, museums, immersive attractions, or large-scale entertainment venues.

Experience with LED systems, projection mapping, and lighting control systems (e.g., GrandMA, Pharos, Q-SYS).

Familiarity with interactive technologies, show control systems, and media servers.

Strong understanding of rigging, power distribution, and safety standards in entertainment environments.

Qualifications & Certifications:

Degree in Audio Technology, Lighting Design, or related field.

AVIXA CTS or equivalent certification.

Medialon, QSC, or similar system certifications.

Additional training in show control, Dante audio networking, or lighting programming is a plus.
