Job Title:Strategic Planning Specialist Department:Strategy Department Administration:Strategy Management Office Location:Al Qassim, Buraydah.
Job Purpose:To support the development, update, and implementation of the organization’s strategic plans by collecting and analyzing internal and external data, conducting strategic analyses, and contributing to the preparation of comprehensive and reliable strategic plans, performance reports, and balanced scorecards that support organizational development and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:Collect and validate internal and external baseline data related to the organizational environment to ensure data quality and accuracy for strategic analysis. Conduct strategic analyses using recognized methodologies such as SWOT, PESTEL, and competitor analysis, and document analysis outputs. Support the update of the organization’s vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives by gathering inputs from relevant departments and aligning them with required frameworks. Coordinate the preparation of the organization’s strategic plan through consolidating inputs, updating strategic components, and ensuring adherence to approved timelines. Contribute to the development and update of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) indicators and performance measurement models in coordination with the Head of Department. Collect operational objectives and performance targets from departments, compare targets against actual results, and support performance reporting. Prepare preliminary and periodic strategic performance reports, verify data accuracy, and submit them to the Head of Department. Follow up with departments to ensure timely submission of operational plans, indicators, and performance data within defined deadlines. Support the alignment of departmental operational plans with strategic objectives through reviewing templates and validating linkages. Prepare and update strategic presentations, meeting materials, timelines, and discussion summaries. Conduct benchmarking studies, collect comparative market data, and identify strategic gaps. Coordinate with the Performance Management Department to ensure alignment in methodologies, data exchange, and analytical approaches. Update strategic databases periodically to ensure readiness for review cycles and continuous improvement. Prepare and organize documentation related to the approval of objectives, initiatives, and indicators in accordance with approved templates and schedules. Perform any other tasks within the scope of the job as assigned, provided they do not conflict with regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications & Experience:Educational Qualifications (Required):Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or an equivalent field. Preferred Qualifications:Specialized certification in Strategic Management or Business Strategy. Experience:Total professional experience: 2 to 6 years in strategic planning or related fields.
