Core Technical Skills(Must-have skills to nice to have skills for above position. Steam turbine components knowledge – rotor, blades, casings, diaphragms, bearings, nozzles. (must have) Strength / structural analysis for high-temperature rotating machinery.(must have) Finite Element Analysis (FEA/FEM) – ANSYS,.(must have) Thermo-mechanical analysis – stress due to temperature, centrifugal forces, pressure loads.(must have) Fatigue, creep & fracture mechanics calculations for turbine materials. (not must skill but good to have) Critical speed & rotor dynamics basic understanding (added advantage). Knowledge of programming language Matlab is an advantage. Vibration analysis basics – blade vibration, Campbell diagram (good to have).

Position : Asst. Manager-Structural Mechanic· No. of Position : 1· Minimum Qualification : Master degree in mechanical engineering or applied mechanics B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical, Design, or Thermal Engineering· Location of Job: Chennai· Experience required: 03-07 years.· Preferably : Exclusively from Steam Turbine Industry
