Quality and Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

•Perform routine and preventive maintenance for chiller systems to ensure efficient and continuous operation.

•Diagnose technical issues in cooling systems, identify root causes, and resolve problems in a timely manner.

•Carry out necessary repairs on chiller components such as compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, and control systems.

•Monitor equipment performance and record daily readings such as temperatures and pressures to ensure compliance with standards.

•Follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment correctly while performing maintenance and repair tasks.

Education & Experience :

• Diploma in Mechanical

• ⁠1–3 years of hands-on experience in chiller maintenance and repair

• ⁠Practical knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and cooling cycles

• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults in chiller units

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety standards

Skills

• Preventive Maintenance Skills – Ability to perform regular inspections and servicing to ensure optimal chiller performance.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics – Skill in identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues.
• Knowledge of Refrigeration Systems – Understanding of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant cycles.
• Electrical and Control Systems Skills – Ability to read wiring diagrams and work with control panels and sensors.
• Safety and Compliance Awareness – Following safety procedures and adhering to HVAC/R standards and regulations.
