Job Summary:

v General

Ø Perform Technical Advisor role (both Instrumentation and Controls) during planned / unplanned outages in the field under the leadership of Outage Project Manager

Ø Commissioning, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of instrumentation apparatus

Ø Plant modifications involving, instrumentation, control, and monitoring systems

Ø Perform active role on outage planning under the leadership of OPM

Ø Assist Outage Project Manager to develop field service quality management system

Duties and Responsibilities:

v Detailed

Ø Lead the development of I&C capabilities within the FS department

Ø Work within the FS backup team to develop outage planning deliverables, I&C procedures and I&C quality plans, etc.

Ø Support the FS backup office with pre-outage planning (Schedules, datasheets, histogram, etc.)  

Ø Lead the I&C subcontractor’s technicians assigned for I&C works. Ensure their qualification by providing necessary support and training.

Ø Inspect measuring instrumentation systems for proper functioning

Ø Carry out logic changes

Ø To isolate, remove, refit, test, confirm integrity, calibrate and commission electrical equipment such as Flame Detectors, Igniters, thermocouples and other electrical equipment as required.

Ø To isolate, reconnect and commission Fire Detection Systems

Ø To carry out stroke and function testing of control valves and other control equipment as required at outage

Ø Plan and carry out interlock and simulation test of control equipment before commissioning of machinery

Ø Provide in house and client recommendations on equipment and wiring and equipment improvements, swap outs or replacements as required

Ø Excellent understanding of programing and software based  DCS (Netmation) control systems

Ø Generate detailed field report of works performed within 15 days after outage

Ø Develop, review, revise field procedures, and related technical information.

Ø Interpret and apply drawings, field procedures, and technical documents to open/close activities.

Ø Perform other such duties as may be required by Outage Project Manager

Skills

Ø Excellent understanding of programing and software based  DCS (Netmation) control systems

Ø Generate detailed field report of works performed within 15 days after outage

Ø Develop, review, revise field procedures, and related technical information.

Ø Interpret and apply drawings, field procedures, and technical documents to open/close activities.

Ø Perform other such duties as may be required by Outage Project Manager
