Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to identify issues early and minimize equipment downtime.
- Supervise electrical and mechanical installations of laundry equipment to ensure compliance with standards and technical specifications.
- Conduct testing and commissioning for newly installed or repaired equipment to verify proper performance and safety.
- Prepare and update technical documentation, including service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment condition assessments.
- Ensure full adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout all maintenance and installation activities.
Education & Experience :
- Diploma in Mechanical Technology or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized technical institute or college.
- Fresh graduate up to 2 years of experience in maintenance, installation, or troubleshooting of mechanical or electromechanical equipment (preferably laundry equipment or similar machinery).
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, pumps, belts, motors, and control components.
- Ability to use diagnostic and measurement tools, such as multimeters, pressure gauges, and vibration or alignment tools.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and maintenance best practices in industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, equipment diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
- Good understanding of industrial laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and ironers.
- Proficiency in using maintenance and diagnostic tools, such as hand tools, multimeters, and pressure gauges.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to motors, pumps, belts, and control components.
