We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolder to join our team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia within the Heavy Industry & Metallurgy sector. As a Scaffolder, you will play a critical role in ensuring that scaffolding structures are erected and dismantled safely and efficiently, enabling our construction and maintenance projects to proceed without interruption. Your expertise will contribute to the safety and productivity of our operations, making you an integral part of our workforce.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in scaffolding, be knowledgeable about safety regulations, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and plans to ensure that scaffolding is constructed according to specifications. Additionally, you will collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure that scaffolding meets the needs of the project while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Construct and install scaffolding systems based on project specifications and safety regulations.
- Inspect scaffolding structures for stability and safety before use.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on the job site.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute scaffolding projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment used in scaffolding to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Provide training and guidance to junior scaffolders and laborers on safe scaffolding practices.
- Respond to and resolve any issues or concerns related to scaffolding during project execution.
- Document and report any incidents or near-misses to management for further analysis.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety initiatives.
- Adapt to changing project requirements and work conditions while maintaining a high standard of work.
Preferred Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Scaffolder with a strong understanding of scaffolding techniques and safety measures.
- Certification in scaffolding or related fields is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and project managers.
