The role is responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and execution of on-site safety activities in coordination with the client. Key duties include:

Participate in planning and organizing on-site activities in coordination with the client.

Identify and implement client-specific safety requirements.

Develop and support contingency plans, drills, and emergency preparedness activities.

Coordinate and account for the deployment of personnel and safety equipment.

Monitor personnel access at sites and maintain awareness of their locations at all times (Lease Control).

Install safety equipment and ensure proper placement for rapid response, including but not limited to:

Cascade systems
-
Breathing apparatus
-
Gas detection systems
-
Safe briefing areas
-
Operate safety equipment at job sites in full compliance with relevant safety standards.

Assume the role of H2S Site Lead when required and supervise all H2S-related activities in compliance with Rawabi United Safety Services’ standards and regulations.

Conduct periodic on-site inspections of safety equipment (cascade systems, breathing apparatus, gas detection systems—electronic and tube-type, and other equipment) to ensure compliance with set standards.

Detect and troubleshoot technical issues; report complex issues to the Site Lead promptly.

Participate in toolbox talks, pre-job meetings, and safety orientations.

Monitor on-site activities to ensure adherence to safety requirements and escalate any deviations to the H2S Site Lead.

Respond promptly to H2S releases and execute emergency response activities in compliance with established guidelines.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on on-site safety equipment.

Conduct hazard and risk assessments to identify potential risks and report findings in a timely manner.

Distribute required PPE (e.g., safety goggles, gloves, safety boots) and ensure proper usage at all times.

Promote best health and safety practices to support a strong safety culture at all job sites.

Maintain an up-to-date inventory for all on-site safety equipment, including:

Updating inventory in the Global Asset Management System

Maintaining equipment logs and calibration records
-
Documenting safety equipment activities in both electronic and hard-copy formats
-
Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.
