Job Summary:

The AutoCAD Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and models for engineering and architectural projects. The role requires a strong understanding of design principles, technical standards, and proficiency in both 2D drafting and 3D modelling software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Develop 3D models using Revit and/or Civil 3D for coordination and visualization purposes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through BIM360 for model sharing and design integration.
• Maintain drawing records, file management, and revision control.
• Support engineers and designers by translating conceptual designs into detailed working drawings.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with company and client CAD/BIM standards.
• Participate in design review meetings to ensure accuracy and constructability.

Skills

• Diploma or bachelor's degree, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in an engineering or consulting environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and BIM360.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
