The Industrial Electrical Technician maintains and repairs electrical systems across the milling and feed plants. The role ensures reliable power supply, equipment safety, and compliance with electrical codes.
§ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
§ Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair faulty wiring/components.
§ Conduct regular inspections of panels, motors, and PLC systems.
§ Document maintenance activities in ERP systems.
§ Ensure compliance with electrical safety and regulatory codes.
§ Collaborate with engineers during installations and upgrades.
§ Train junior technicians in safe electrical practices.
§ Maintain inventory of electrical spare parts.
§ Support energy-saving initiatives in plant operations.
Respond to emergencies and restore power promptly.
Skills
§ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification.
§ 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
§ Knowledge of PLCs, motors, and industrial electrical systems.
§ ERP (SAP) experience preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and safety awareness.
