· Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery, including trucks and loading/unloading machinery, conveyor belts, and other grain handling systems.
· Operate and troubleshoot mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations.
· Respond promptly to mechanical malfunctions, minimizing downtime and ensuring the continuous flow of wheat distribution.
· Diagnose and execute timely repairs on mechanical equipment.
· Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan and prioritize mechanical maintenance tasks.
· Maintain accurate records of mechanical maintenance activities.
· On request and with the support of the maintenance supervisor, generate reports on mechanical system performance and issues addressed
Skills
- 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or warehouse setting.
- High school or equivalent. Certification in mechanical maintenance or a related field is required.
