Your Responsibilities
- Maintain the ammonia refrigeration system, packaged refrigeration units, and any other supporting equipment
- Ensure continuous operation of all the facility systems and equipment, and maintain facility conditions
- Coordinate operations and maintenance equipment
- Coordinate both internal and external resources for the maintenance of the facility
- Assist in technical analysis and provide real-time data on the status of refrigeration and operational equipment
- Work with the water treatment supplier to assure the equipment is operating correctly
- Ensure the ammonia compressors are operating safely and efficiently to reduce energy consumption
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing
- Handle maintenance emergencies as and when required
- Complete duties in accordance with quality assurance, Good Manufacturing Practices, safety and other company procedures, and in accordance with government regulations
- Maintain a safe work area
- Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination, leakages and suspicious activity to a supervisor immediately

Your Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience working with Ammonia refrigeration
Your Proficiencies
- Ammonia refrigeration certification
- Certificate in HVAC
- Knowledge of equipment set-up, operating procedures and preventative maintenance techniques
