Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with solid experience in the marine and offshore industry to lead our financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of offshore business environments, vessel operations, and project-based accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to management.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports specific to marine and offshore projects.
2. Manage tax filings and compliance in accordance with local and international maritime regulations.
3. Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and training on offshore cost tracking and reporting standards.
4. Support budgeting and forecasting for fleet operations, maintenance, and offshore contracts.
5. Analyze financial performance across marine assets and projects, providing insights to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance; a specialization in marine or offshore accounting is preferred.
2. CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting roles within the marine, shipping, or offshore oil & gas sectors.
4. Strong knowledge of IFRS, maritime accounting standards, and offshore regulatory frameworks.
5. Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for operational and cost details.
