We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Infrastructure & Systems Specialist to join our team. 

An independent and skilled professional responsible for the administration, optimization, and advanced troubleshooting of enterprise IT infrastructure. 

You will be a go-to expert for your peers, capable of handling challenging tasks from end to end and mentoring junior engineers. This role requires a strong technical foundation, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Independently administer and optimize Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and provide advanced troubleshooting for complex incidents (L3).

Oversee and manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring compliance with RPO/RTO requirements.

Perform proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning across all systems.

Lead system hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation efforts.

Mentor junior engineers, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and contribute to the team's knowledge base.

Ensure all infrastructure operations align with ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2–4 years of relevant professional experience.

Proven experience as an Infrastructure & Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization.

Hands-on experience with enterprise backup platforms (Veeam, Veritas NetBackup).

Strong knowledge of storage (SAN/NAS) and hybrid cloud integration.

Professional-level proficiency in creating structured reports, presentations, and collaborative analysis using Google Workspace.

Strong collaboration skills in shared digital environments.
