Steel Fabrication Technician
Key Duties
Operate cutting, shearing and bending machines to fabricate steel components
Perform MIG, TIG, arc and CO₂ welding on steel, stainless and aluminium parts
Cut materials to precise measurements and maintain accuracy throughout production
Use drills, grinders, saws and other hand- or power-tools safely and effectively
Inspect finished work, uphold quality standards and follow all safety rules
Requirements
Technical diploma or vocational certificate in welding / metal fabrication
3–5 years’ experience in structural or sheet-metal welding, skilled in MIG, TIG, SMAW and gas processes
Ability to read engineering drawings and measure accurately
Proficiency with cutting and forming machinery and work on various metals
Basic English for shop instructions; Arabic preferred
