Project Quality Control (QC) Manager – Infrastructure Projects
Location: Eastern Province
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project QC Manager with an Engineering background to lead and manage quality control activities for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all construction works meet project specifications, client expectations, and applicable quality standards while maintaining effective coordination across all project disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of the project-specific Quality Control Plan in alignment with contract and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate QC inspections, material testing, and documentation related to civil works including earthworks, concrete, structural, and finishing activities.
- Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), material submittals, and construction drawings.
- Ensure that quality inspections are conducted at all stages of the project and that non-conformities are identified, recorded, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors regarding QC compliance, site inspections, and audits.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce compliance with the project’s quality and safety policies.
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 and project specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers, QC inspectors, and field teams.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with construction, planning, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and proper execution.
- Report regularly on quality performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to project and corporate management.
