This critical role is responsible for leading and managing investigations into allegations of mismanagement, abuse of authority, waste of resources, and other related misconduct across the organization. The successful candidate will drive accountability, ensure transparency, and contribute to an ethical organizational culture. |
REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY - 7+ years of experience in investigations, compliance, internal audit, or a related field
- Proven experience handling cases of mismanagement, authority abuse, or waste
- Strong investigative and analytical skills
- Excellent report writing and documentation abilities
- High ethical standards and discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with investigative techniques, ethics and compliance frameworks, and relevant regulations

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES The Manager - Mismanagement Authority Abuse & Waste Investigation's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Lead Investigations - Plan, manage, and conduct complex and sensitive investigations into allegations of mismanagement, abuse of authority, and resource waste.
Evidence Collection & Analysis - Collect, review, and analyze documentation, conduct interviews, and synthesize findings to establish facts.
Reporting - Prepare comprehensive, factual, and impartial investigation reports with clear findings and recommendations.
Case Management - Maintain accurate records of all case activities and ensure investigations are completed in a timely and effective manner.
Collaboration - Work closely with Legal, HR, Compliance, and other departments to ensure appropriate actions are taken following investigations.
Policy Improvement - Identify systemic issues and provide recommendations to strengthen policies, controls, and procedures to mitigate future risks.
Training & Awareness - Support awareness and training initiatives related to ethics, reporting misconduct, and preventing abuse of authority and waste.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Experience - 7+ years of experience in investigations, compliance, internal audit, or a related field
- Proven experience handling complex misconduct investigations involving authority abuse, mismanagement, and/or waste.
- Strong knowledge of investigative techniques, ethics frameworks, and relevant regulatory standards.
- Exceptional report writing, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in law, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree is preferred.
