Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (split units, central AC, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, etc.)
  • Inspect and test HVAC systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently
  • Replace or clean air filters, check refrigerant levels, and recharge systems when necessary
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
  • Communicate with clients to explain issues and provide cost and time estimates
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used

Skills

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of split units, central AC, chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.

Troubleshooting Ability: Skilled at diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues quickly and efficiently.

Reading Blueprints & Schematics: Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams to guide installations and repairs.

Preventive Maintenance: Capable of performing scheduled checks and routine servicing to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment life.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of HVAC safety procedures, refrigerant handling, and compliance with local codes and regulations.

Tool Proficiency: Experience using HVAC tools such as manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, leak detectors, and multimeters.

Communication Skills: Able to clearly explain technical problems and solutions to clients or supervisors in a professional manner.

Customer Service: Courteous and responsive to customer needs, with a focus on quality service and satisfaction.

Adaptability: Able to work in various environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, outdoors) and handle emergency call-outs.

  • Time Management: Efficient in handling multiple tasks, completing jobs within time frames, and maintaining accurate service records.
