Job Overview:
As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the financial records of the company. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, handling general accounting duties, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial data and support the finance team in various functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- ZATCA Compliance Prepare tax returns and ensure the company complies with relevant ZATCA regulations.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management processes.
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place to prevent errors and fraud.
Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, SOCPA or equivalent professional qualification (preferred, but not essential).
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and laws.
