  • Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
  • Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
  • Diagnose breakdown problems.
  • Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
  • Carry out quality inspections on jobs.
  • Utilized proper safety techniques and equipment to promote safety for self and others.
  • Mechanical technicians inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul mechanical systems used in the Slaughterhouse, such as Killing, Defeathering, evisceration machines, pumps, Gearboxs and motors.
  • Perform daily maintenance of poultry production plant equipment, and facilities.
  • Record and document maintenance daily and routinely.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance procedures.


Skills

  • Mechanical Engineer
  • (+5) years of previous manufacturing repair experience, preferably within the poultry industry.
  • Experience with Marel processing equipment and systems is mandatory
  • English language.
