Job Description:
Amwaj Al Khair Group of Companies is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Purchase Officer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a vital role in managing purchasing activities, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining cost efficiency across all company operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, and negotiating contracts.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods, and services required for operations.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet purchasing requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Track and report on purchase orders, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply chain issues.
- Continuously improve procurement processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Skills
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in a Purchasing or Procurement role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze procurement data.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
