Opportunity:
Reporting to senior management, our client is looking for an experienced professional to lead and optimize production operations across their poultry processing facilities.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing production operations to consistently achieve specified production targets while maintaining high-quality standards and budget constraints.
- Developing and implementing strategic production schedules to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitoring and analyzing production data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental standards and industry best practices.
- Overseeing poultry health, nutrition, and biosecurity protocols.
- Leading a dynamic production team through effective communication and leadership.
- Coordinating multiple production tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Implementing innovative strategies to enhance overall production performance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science and Technology.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the poultry industry, with a focus on production operations.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role within the poultry industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Production scheduling and efficiency optimization
- Data analysis and performance improvement
- Poultry health and nutrition management
- Biosecurity practices
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Remuneration:
Overall package is highly competitive and tax-free and aims to balance work commitments and family time. As an indication salary, tax paid, will be €68,000 – €75,000 and additional benefits provided are:
