Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, hydraulics, and heavy-duty transmissions.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive care on trucks, trailers, buses, and other heavy commercial vehicles.
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, steering, and suspension issues.
• Conduct road tests and check completed repairs to ensure safety standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to identify faults and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
