Role Overview: As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of a large-scale factory, including a newly launched mega line. Reporting to the Factory Operations Manager, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, driving a culture of reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in electrical systems, PLCs, and maintenance planning will be critical in optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
- Team Leadership: Oversee, guide, and support a team of maintenance technicians, promoting a culture of responsibility, teamwork, and high technical standards
- Hands-On Support: Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for electrical and PLC-related issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Ensure adherence to GMP and other regulatory standards, promoting a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track maintenance performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams to align maintenance activities with broader operational goals.
Skills
Your Profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance roles within the food manufacturing industry, ideally in a food environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and maintenance planning systems.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams, with excellent people management skills.
- Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and experience working in high-compliance environments.
- Problem-Solving: Hands-on approach with a knack for diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working across departments and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
