- Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
- Storing all laboratory chemicals and gases by following the lab's safety guidelines.
- Ensuring consistent records of logs, equipment, and other laboratory information.
- Curating all the laboratory materials from liquids to gases in appropriate storage compartments by following all safety protocols.
Skills
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
- Proven track record of working on electrical and analog laboratory tools and equipment.
- Proficient in autonomous work by maintaining high standards under pressure.
- Adroit in proper management and utility of potentially high-risk laboratory substances.
Required skills to be successful:
• Ability to operate without direct supervision • A high-level of understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• An appreciation of high-voltage systems and the safety required to operate with them
• Very organised in approach with the skills to plan and share data on progress
• Strong IT skills and interested in working with mechanical and electric vehicles systems and excellent skills in supporting less experienced technicians
About the Team:
This role will be reporting directly to workshop manager / Supervisor.
What equips you for the role:
• Technical certification diploma, ITI, ATA, IMI or equivalent
• IMI EV Level 3 or 4 – Advantage / Priority
• Master Technician certification or industry equivalent
• In depth knowledge and experience of EV components and systems both high and low voltage
• 5-7 years’ experience as Diagnostic Technician, retail automotive experience.
