- Working experience operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
- Skilled in working independently adhering to strict deadlines.
- Remarkable understanding of all the relevant practices and guidelines of the laboratory.
- Proficient in handling all the functionalities of conventional and digital equipment.
Required skills to be successful:
• Ability to operate without direct supervision • A high-level of understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• An appreciation of high-voltage systems and the safety required to operate with them
• Very organised in approach with the skills to plan and share data on progress
• Strong IT skills and interested in working with mechanical and electric vehicles systems and excellent skills in supporting less experienced technicians
About the Team:
This role will be reporting directly to workshop manager / Supervisor.
What equips you for the role:
• Technical certification diploma, ITI, ATA, IMI or equivalent
• IMI EV Level 3 or 4 – Advantage / Priority
• Master Technician certification or industry equivalent
• In depth knowledge and experience of EV components and systems both high and low voltage
• 5-7 years’ experience as Diagnostic Technician, retail automotive experience.
