Job Summary:
The Sales Manager for Discount Stores and Chain Business will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing relationships with key customers, and expanding our presence in discount stores and chain businesses across Saudi Arabia. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the retail landscape, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for discount stores and chain businesses.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s footprint in the assigned channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adapt strategies accordingly.
2. Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including discount stores and chain business.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional activities to maximize profitability and market share.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to orders or customer complaints.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to the team.
4. Business Development:
- Identify and onboard new clients within the discount store and chain business segments.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns tailored to these channels.
5. Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular sales reports, including performance metrics, market analysis, and forecasts.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and improve results.
6. Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct in all business dealings.
Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry, with a focus on discount stores, chain businesses, or retail channels in Saudi Arabia.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Saudi retail landscape, including discount stores, gas station mini-markets, and chain businesses.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Language: Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
- Driving License: Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
