  1. IT Infrastructure Maintenance – Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems within the camp.
  2. System Monitoring & Security – Monitor system performance, ensure data security, and implement cybersecurity measures to protect camp IT assets.
  3. User Support & Training – Provide technical support to camp staff, resolve IT-related issues, and train users on IT best practices and security protocols.
  4. Network & Communication Management – Set up and maintain wired and wireless networks, ensure stable internet connectivity, and manage VoIP or other communication systems.
  5. Hardware & Software Management – Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, and specialized software required for camp operations.
  6. Data Backup & Recovery – Implement backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
  7. IT Policy & Compliance – Ensure IT operations comply with internal policies and external regulations, maintaining documentation of IT assets and procedures.
  8. Collaboration with External Vendors – Coordinate with IT service providers and vendors for equipment procurement, maintenance, and software licensing.
  9. Incident Response & Troubleshooting – Quickly respond to IT incidents, diagnose problems, and apply effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
  10. Continuous Improvement – Stay updated on emerging IT trends and technologies, recommending upgrades and improvements for better efficiency and security.1.1.

Skills

  1. At least 3 years of experience in enterprise IT operations. Candidates with experience in government enterprises are preferred.
  2. English as work language.
  3. Network Fundamentals – Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
  4. Network Security – Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, access control, and encryption techniques to ensure network security and prevent cyber threats.
  5. Network Devices & Configuration – Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, wireless access points, and load balancers from vendors like Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, etc.
  6. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues using tools such as Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute, SNMP, and network monitoring software.
  7. Wireless Networks – Understanding of Wi-Fi standards, wireless security protocols, signal optimization, and troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues.
  8. Operating Systems & Servers – Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, including DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and file-sharing services.
  9. Cloud & Virtualization – Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) for modern network environments.
