Key Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
  • Identify and reach out to potential customers through cold calling, emails, social media, and networking.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
  1. Client Engagement:
  • Understand customer needs through effective communication and active listening.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase software features and benefits.
  • Address customer inquiries and objections to build trust and rapport.
  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed assigned targets.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of sales agreements.
  • Close deals and manage contract signing processes.
  1. Account Management:
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  1. Market Research:
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it to product and marketing teams.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Analyze sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Skills

Educational Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
  • HubSpot Sales Certification
  • Salesforce Sales Representative Certification
  • Software-related certifications relevant to the product being sold

Experience:

  1. 1-5 years of experience in B2B or B2C sales, preferably in the software industry.
  2. Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) sales or enterprise software is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  1. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot.
  2. Knowledge of the software or tech solutions being sold (e.g., ERP, CRM, cybersecurity).
  3. Basic understanding of IT concepts like cloud computing, APIs, or databases (for technical software sales).
