Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing expert guidance and strategic insights on energy modelling solutions that could be leveraged across dry & wet utilities within the organization. This role will serve as centre of expertise internally for the technical services function & shall utilize extensive knowledge of new energy technologies, market trends, and policy frameworks to develop and implement innovative energy modelling solutions that shall drive sustainable growth for TRSUC.
This role will be key in developing robust , repeatable energy models that can be scaled globally to assess the economics of complex electrical systems required for off-grid applications present within the organization.
The role will also provide consultancy services to other organizations or ministries which need support around Energy modelling

Strategic Contribution

Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, technological innovations and stay updated on policy developments in the renewable energy domain to provide informed recommendations on energy modelling relevant to the business
Functional Responsibilities

Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

- Apply safety, quality and environmental management policy, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude
Relationship Management

Collaborate with government agencies, industry associations, research institutions, and other key stakeholders to foster strategic partnerships and drive collaborative initiatives in the renewable energy modelling space
Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the identification of opportunities within energy modelling space for continuous improvement of the TRSUC function’s systems, processes and practices considering international best practice, business process improvement, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, environmental science, or a related field

Good understanding of renewable energy policies, regulations, and market dynamics at the local, regional and international levels
