Job purpose
Analyze sales data, create sales forecasts, and make recommendations to optimize sales activities.
Duties and responsibilities
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data.
- Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
- Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams.
- Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.
- Monitoring and evaluating sales performance.
- Forecasting demand, revenue, and expenses.
- Determining sales potential and making recommendations.
- Responsible for helping to maintain the accuracy of the inventory by working closely with Sales to meet internal and external client needs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly inventory, sales performance, and analysis reports.
- Work proactively to avoid oversell or less sell and find creative solutions.
- Work closely with Sales Operations on all manner of issues, including inventory reconciliation, specials orders and pending items, new orders, expedite the order etc.
- Prepare the monthly and weekly delivery plan for the local production plant and imported products.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain updated records of inventory, shipments, and sales accuracy VS forecast.
- Monitor stock levels and follow up with vendors as needed.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
- Working with team members and S.C. Manager to complete duties as needed
