An excellent opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment, for a Global Oil & Gas Service company! for Senior Planning Analyst.
Purpose
The Senior Planning Analyst is a vital link between Supply Chain, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production Planning teams, ensuring seamless integration of forecast plans, efficient inventory management, and timely delivery schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of MRP processes, Oracle systems, and collaborative problem-solving to maintain operational excellence.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Planning Production Assisting
- Validate, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in Oracle Fusion to ensure alignment with demand forecasts, capacity planning, and production constraints.
- Collaborate with Production Planning, Engineering, and Operations teams to evaluate and balance load versus capacity.
- Conduct regular MPS reviews to address deviations, align schedules with updated forecasts, and incorporate last-minute order changes.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance MPS accuracy, including integration of historical data and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze production adherence to the MPS and report variances to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze MRP runs in Oracle Fusion to maintain optimal stock levels, including safety stock, and prevent shortages.
- Verify stock positions, identify shortages, and validate demand before releasing purchase requisitions (PRs).
- Analyze and report inventory trends, including fast- and slow-moving items, inventory levels against targets, and inter-BU supplies.
- Track delivery dates in Oracle Fusion and ensure timely updates to Customer Service (CS) and Production Planning (PP) teams.
- Advise on shipment modes for non-sea freight requirements, coordinating with Customer Service for final confirmation.
- Follow up on orders and escalate urgent requirements with Purchasing to meet delivery schedules.

- Implement, support, and champion Alkhorayef HSE plan whilst carrying out duties.
- Fully comply with the Local environmental regulations.

- Report any RIRs; near misses or incidents.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Experience
- 3 to 5 Years of Experience in in a supply chain or planning role within a manufacturing environment (assembly and machining preferred).
- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion for MPS/MRP execution and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and demand planning principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent Analytical Skills.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
