Job Purpose:
To lead the quality assurance function by implementing quality management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products that meet customer and safety requirements.
Major Accountabilities:
- Handle and resolve Consumer complaints received from either Internal/External sources along with appropriate actions.
- Develop robust Change validation protocols for Trials/Productivity Projects and new launches in coordination with Operating Unit (OU)
- Implement the SPC monitoring, Pest control, Calibration, GMP & Hygiene programs
- Develop and Implement the Quality Pillars of Cost of Quality & Quality 4.0
- Focus on Prevention over Reaction while leveraging the Lesson Learnt from Global IMCRs
- Align with OU QFS priorities and execute monitoring plans to meet the expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with Coca-Cola standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee quality assurance processes across all stages of production to ensure product consistency, safety, and compliance with specifications.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections, identifying and addressing non-compliance or quality issues to maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality-related issues, driving preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Manage quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), generating reports to inform senior management and support data-driven improvements.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs for staff to foster a culture of quality awareness and adherence to best practices.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies to ensure compliance with certifications and regulatory approvals.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or CQE) is preferred.
- Proficiency in quality management software and familiarity with safety and environmental standards are advantageous.
