Job Purpose
The Venue Operator is responsible for the comprehensive management and operation of a specific event or entertainment venue within the offering. This role ensures the seamless coordination of staff, equipment, and logistics to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The Venue Operator plays a crucial role in executing operational plans, maintaining the highest standards of safety and service, and contributing to the overall success of the attraction by ensuring all venue-related activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Accountability Areas:
Operational Management
- Oversee daily venue operations, including the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate with the Facility Management Manager to ensure all venue activities are aligned with SEVEN’s operational standards and guest service expectations.
- Monitor and manage the allocation of resources, including staff and equipment, to optimize efficiency and performance.
Staff Coordination
- Manage and coordinate the activities of venue staff, ensuring they are fully trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Implement staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all events and activities within the venue.
- Provide on-the-ground support and supervision during events to address any issues that may arise.
Guest Experience
- Ensure that all guest interactions within the venue are positive and aligned with SEVEN’s commitment to exceptional service.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly, taking action to resolve any issues and enhance the overall experience.
- Monitor guest flow and venue capacity, making adjustments as necessary to ensure safety and comfort.
- Ensure all guest interactions are welcoming and positive, enhancing the overall experience within the venue.

Safety And compliance
- Ensure all venue operations comply with health and safety regulations, including fire safety, emergency procedures, and accessibility standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the venue to identify and address any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues.
- Work with the Facility Management Manager to develop and implement safety protocols and training for venue staff.
Logistics and Inventory Management
- Manage the logistics of equipment and supplies required for venue operations, ensuring all necessary items are available and in working order.
- Oversee the inventory of venue-related assets, conducting regular checks and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services needed for events.
Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training in event management or hospitality is preferred.
Professional Certifications
Certification in Venue Management or a related field is a plus.
Required Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in venue operations, event management, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality guest experiences.
- Experience in coordinating staff and managing logistics in a fast-paced environment.
