The ideal candidate will assist in the evaluation, testing, and validation of IT systems, services and software. Assess service levels and product performance to ensure they meet established quality standards. Being an IT Quality Assurance you will document issues and track status in designated systems. you will develop or participate in the development of solutions to resolve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize Quality assurance methodologies.
- Review and understand requirements documentation and report any gaps.
- Write test cases (requirement and experience-based test cases)
- Perform functional test with test results reporting (Pass/fail Criteria)
- Defect reports
- Product test status reports
- Risk / Recommendations reports
- Support in establishing the automation process and needed tools.
- Follow-up with vendors who perform software testing to ensure the quality of testing.
- Lead ISO activities including auditing management and management review meetings.
- Lead and manage the project testing activities including test planning, execution, and resource managing.
- Report any functional and non-functional defects using defect tracking systems.
- Review and analyze the system requirements documents.
- Prepare and perform UAT activities for projects that follow waterfall or Agile methodology.
- Assure the traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Assists in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes, and strategic plans.
- Perform any duties as required by the direct manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience in Quality Assurance
- Ability to multi-task
- Proactive in solving problems
