Team Supervision and Leadership:
- Crew Supervision:
- Supervise a team of landscapers, ensuring that tasks such as planting, turf management, irrigation, and hardscaping are completed according to design specifications and timelines.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to landscaping staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Scheduling and Task Management:
- Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise, ensuring an efficient and productive work environment.
- Develop and manage work schedules for landscaping crews to ensure tasks are completed on time, particularly during peak seasons.
- Monitor daily progress and make adjustments to workloads and schedules as necessary.
Site Coordination and Project Execution:
- Worksite Management:
- Oversee the execution of landscaping plans on-site, ensuring that the team follows approved designs and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to check the progress of landscape works and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Ensure all landscaping work is done in compliance with environmental regulations and client expectations.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure the proper execution of landscape tasks, including plant installation, turf management, irrigation system installation, and hardscape construction (e.g., walkways, walls, water features).
- Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring it meets or exceeds standards before it is signed off.
- Address and resolve any issues or deficiencies in completed work, ensuring timely corrections.
Material and Resource Management:
- Material Oversight:
- Ensure that all required landscaping materials (e.g., plants, soil, mulch, pavers, irrigation parts) are available and delivered on-site as needed.
- Monitor the usage of materials and equipment, ensuring efficient use to avoid waste and unnecessary costs.
- Liaise with the Landscape Manager or Project Manager to report on material shortages or excesses.
- Equipment Management:
- Ensure all landscaping equipment is properly maintained, safe, and functional. Oversee the use and maintenance of equipment, such as mowers, blowers, edgers, and irrigation tools.
- Ensure that all workers are trained in the proper and safe use of equipment.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Safety Standards:
- Enforce health and safety regulations on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Conduct safety checks on-site to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Organize and participate in regular safety meetings and training to maintain a high level of safety awareness among the team.
- Risk Mitigation:
- Identify and assess potential risks or hazards in the landscape operations and take preventive measures to avoid accidents or injuries.
Skills
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Degree or Certification in Landscape Management, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
- 5 Years Minimum experience in landscape maintenance (hard and soft) projects
- Hands-on experience with landscape installation and maintenance, including knowledge of horticulture, plant care, irrigation systems, and hardscaping.

Certifications (Optional):
