Talent Acquisition Specialist

  1. Assist in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that support the organization’s business goals and workforce planning needs.
  2. Manage aspects of the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, ensuring quality and timeliness of hires.
  3. Support relationships with external recruiting agencies, job boards, and other talent sources to help attract qualified and diverse candidates.
  4. Contribute to enhancing the employer brand through social media engagement, career fair participation, and involvement in university recruitment initiatives.
  5. Participate in the development and execution of the onboarding program for new hires, including assisting with training, cultural orientation, and role-specific introductions.
  6. Work closely with HR and team leaders to ensure new hires receive the necessary support and mentorship during their initial period with the company.
  7. Track and report on recruitment and onboarding performance metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, and employee retention, identifying areas for improvement.
  8. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives by ensuring fair and unbiased hiring practices are followed throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes.
  9. Provide assistance to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and candidate evaluation to maintain consistency in hiring decisions.
  10. Ensure adherence to labor laws, recruitment regulations, and organizational policies during hiring and onboarding activities.
  11. Collaborate with the talent acquisition and onboarding team to ensure smooth operations and alignment with departmental objectives.
  12. Stay informed about changes in employment laws, recruitment trends, and best practices to contribute to the effectiveness of the talent acquisition strategy
