Position: Site Resident Engineer (Civil with MEP Experience)

Type: Full-Time (6 days per week)

Working Hours: 8 hours/day (aligned with Main Contractor's working hours)

Project Duration: Duration of the Project 18 months 

  
Requirements:

• Fluency in English.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction as a Resident Engineer.
• Previous experience in Cold Stores is mandatory.
• Excellent in Primavera P6  
• PMP Certified (Preferable) 
• Transferable Iqama 
• No notice period (urgent)
• KSA Resident

Key Responsibilities:

1. Familiarize with project details by studying design drawings, scope of works, specifications, approved materials list, and all reference documents to understand client requirements.

2. Coordinate with the Main Contractor for project startup and review schedules, QHSS plan, Mobilization plan, and Material Submittal plan.

3. Ensure adherence to Construction Health, Safety & Security regulations as per agreed standards with the Client.

4. Monitor daily project activities, conduct weekly progress/technical meetings, and submit Minutes of Meetings (MOM) to Owner.

5. Coordinate with the Client for shop drawings, material submittals, subcontractor prequalification, and seek necessary approvals.

6. Review Method Statements for Civil & Structural works, inspect site activities, issue NCRs for non-compliance, review progress reports, schedules, invoices, and variation orders.

7. Submit weekly progress reports with photographs and monthly project progress documents in soft copy.

8. Upload reports on the Baladi website as per Authority checklist requirements.

9. Supervise Testing & Commissioning of building services and equipment with MEP team and contractors.

10. Maintain all Testing & Commissioning documents, logs, and related data.

11. Issue snag lists, supervise de-snagging works, and provide de-snagging reports.

12. Verify As-Built drawings, O&M manuals, warranty documents, and submit them to the Client during Handing Over.

13. Ensure completion certificates from the Municipality and other necessary Authority approvals.
