Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Holidays Division’s offerings and profitability.
  • Product Development: Design and manage innovative holiday packages tailored to diverse customer needs.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, and other service providers to negotiate competitive rates and ensure exceptional service quality.
  • Sales Growth: Build a strong client base and foster relationships with key customers, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a sales staff, ensuring top-notch customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Upselling: Train staff to effectively upsell holiday packages and additional services, maximizing revenue per booking.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Experience: Uphold and enhance customer satisfaction through personalized and seamless holiday planning.
  • Compliance: Ensure all holiday packages adhere to industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role within the travel or tourism industry, preferably with expertise in holiday packages.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to attract and maintain a loyal client base.
  • In-depth knowledge of holiday package design and market trends.
  • Proficiency in using travel management software and tools.
