The Safety Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of technical maintenance and repair operations in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This position requires a dedicated professional who can identify potential hazards, implement safety protocols, and foster a culture of safety within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety engineering, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all operations adhere to local and international safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  2. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  3. Provide training and guidance to staff on safety practices and emergency response procedures.
  4. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with management to develop safety improvement plans and monitor their effectiveness.
  6. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  8. Assist in the preparation of safety reports for management and regulatory agencies.
  9. Promote a culture of safety awareness among employees through workshops and seminars.
  10. Evaluate and recommend safety equipment and personal protective gear for employees.
