Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational
- Fluency in English Language.
- To work with children in a loving and nurturing manner; allowing them to reach their optimal developmental level in a safe environment.
- To work under the Montessori System using its material and techniques.
- To follow all school rules, policies, and procedures.
- To meet deadlines regarding paperwork (reports, newsletters and Montessori Booklets)
- Training and workshops might include Saturdays.
- To follow health and safety guidelines in the classroom
- Track children’s progress and communicate with parents regularly
- To be cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- teacher is accountable for Student’s accidents under her supervision
Skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
