Job Summary:
The HR-Payroll is responsible for managing and processing the company's payroll functions. This role ensures that all employees are paid accurately and on time, while adhering to compliance standards and company policies. Work with advanced systems such as Oracle, Deltek, or similar platforms to streamline payroll functions, improve accuracy, and ensure data security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process the payroll for all employees, ensuring timely payments and correct deductions.
- Review and verify employee hours, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and benefits to ensure proper pay calculations.
- Manage payroll data entry and ensure proper documentation for compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Serve as the point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related questions and concerns.
- Resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll records, including employee pay data, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure payroll files are securely stored and archived in accordance with legal retention requirements.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary payroll information and documentation.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to reconcile payroll data and ensure proper documentation for new hires, terminations, and leave of absence.
- Generate and provide management with regular payroll reports and analysis as needed.
- Utilize HRIS and payroll software such as Oracle, Deltek, or similar platforms to ensure the accuracy of payroll data.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Experience with payroll systems such as Oracle, Deltek, or similar platforms, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
