Trade marketing Officer

The Trade Marketing Officer (TMO) will support the Trade Marketing Manager (TMM) in ensuring efficient implementation of trade marketing activities. This role involves internal coordination across purchasing, sales and merchandising teams, monitoring POSM suppliers, conducting warehouse spot-checks, and regular trade checks ensuring compliance with display guidelines and trade agreements.


Job Responsibilities

Support:

  • Support the Trade Marketing Manager (TMM) in executing & monitoring trade marketing activities

Coordination:

  • Coordinate internally with sales and merchandising teams to ensure alignment on TM Activities

Vendor (Supplier) Monitoring:

  • Closely monitor POSM (Point of Sale Materials) supplier progress to ensure order fulfilment, timely delivery, and quality output.

Market Information - Gathering and Reporting:

Gather & prepare data, Monitor and Report on:

  • Planogram compliance
  • POSM utilization and implementation levels
  • Trade Agreement compliance (agreed SO Disc, MAA & BDA TM elements)

Others:

  • Coordinate effective communication of price, product, and pack changes
  • Regularly conduct TM-related trade audits including Competitive Activities
  • Periodically conduct warehouse POSM inventory spot audits
  • Periodically conduct refresher training for field team (merchandisers / salesmen) on TM Standards


Job Requirements:

  • At least Diploma Certificate. Bachelor is a plus.
  • +3 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Merchandising / Shopper Marketing of same or similar role (e.g. Coordinator, Supervisor) of Implementation side
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in written and verbal Arabic and English languages
